James’ Residence

James’ Residence is operated by St. James Settlement (St. James). The units are located in Prince Edward, Jordan and Wan Chai.  The project rented some hotels for transitional housing to relieve the urgent housing needs of low-income families and also provide social support to residents.

The NAScenT

The NAScenT is only about a 3-minute walk from the Kam Sheung Road Station and the public transport interchange at Kam Sheung Road Station, providing convenient transportation. The operator is the New Territories Association of Societies.

In terms of facilities, The NAScenT consists of two 4-story residential buildings and a 2-story service building. Each residential unit is equipped with a private toilet, bathroom, and cooking space. The service building will operate as a community service center and will have a small supermarket, restaurant, Western medical clinic, and self-service laundry shop. The facilities will also be open to nearby community residents.

Trackside Villas

Trackside Villas is located at No. 4105 Tai Po Road, Tai Po Kau, in the New Territories of Hong Kong. Under the coordination and support of the Transitional Housing Task Force under the Transport and Housing Bureau, the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) signed an agreement with MTR Corporation Limited (MTRCL) in 2020 to use Chek Seng House as transitional housing for a period of five years.

Trackside Villas has a total of 252 residential units, including 192 two-bedroom units in Block I and 60 three-bedroom units in Block U. As of January 2023, there are over 180 units available for use as transitional housing.

The HKHS is responsible for allocating 134 units, while the Society For Community Organization (SoCO) is responsible for allocating 51 units and providing community support services for the residents of 185 units.

For the 51 units allocated to SoCO, 3 to 6-person families will be accommodated in independent units.
