It is anticipated that The Hong Kong Housing Society’s (HKHS) rental estate in Kwun Tong, viz Kwun Tong Garden Estate, will be redeveloped in phases in 2025, with Yin Chee Lau and Hay Cheuk Lau fall under the first phase. As such, HKHS has refurbished some of the vacant domestic flats therein for use as transitional housing so as to optimise the use of existing housing resources.

The NAScenT is only about a 3-minute walk from the Kam Sheung Road Station and the public transport interchange at Kam Sheung Road Station, providing convenient transportation. The operator is the New Territories Association of Societies.
In terms of facilities, The NAScenT consists of two 4-story residential buildings and a 2-story service building. Each residential unit is equipped with a private toilet, bathroom, and cooking space. The service building will operate as a community service center and will have a small supermarket, restaurant, Western medical clinic, and self-service laundry shop. The facilities will also be open to nearby community residents.
